Charlton Action for World Development Group (AWD)

Description

AWD has been in existence for 34 years.

Meetings are bi-monthly, usually held on the last Monday of the month from February to December. The group holds one main fundraiser each year.

Projects are chosen where AWD has direct contact with a group or individual.

Meetings are varied - guest speakers, DVD viewings, "soapbox" issues to inform group of project area.

The 2008 fundraiser will be "Mamma Mia" at Charlton's Rex Cinema - Sunday August 31 at 2.00pm.
